What To Expect…
Step 1: Book your intake session
The first step is booking an intake session through the “Book Now” button or by emailing me directly at rhyanne@fallowpsychotherapy.com. You can choose whichever option feels easiest for you.
This first session is really about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you’re hoping for moving forward. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—it’s a space to show up as you are.
Step 2: Building a plan together
After we’ve had a chance to talk, we’ll start to shape a direction for our work together. This might include identifying goals, exploring patterns, and deciding what kind of support would be most helpful for you right now.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment plans. Instead, we’ll create something that fits you, your needs, your pace, and what feels realistic in your life. Therapy is flexible, and your plan can shift as things change.
Step 3: Ongoing sessions and support
Sessions are typically 50 minutes of therapeutic work, followed by 10 minutes for us to book additional sessions, answer any questions, and for me to complete chart notes and maintain files in accordance with CCPA guidelines.
Many people meet weekly or bi-weekly in the beginning, and sometimes move to longer gaps between sessions as things start to feel more manageable. How often we meet is something we decide together and can adjust over time depending on what you need.
Step 4: Ending therapy
Ending therapy is something we approach intentionally, not abruptly. It usually happens when you feel like you’ve met your goals and are ready to move forward on your own.
We’ll take time to reflect on your progress, talk through anything that still feels important, and think about ways to maintain what you’ve built in therapy. If you ever need support again in the future, the door is always open.
